11th Azerbaijan International Environmental Exhibition
17 - 19 November 2021 • Baku Expo Center
On the 2nd of November, in the territory of Lake Beyukshor, near the Baku Olympic Stadium, cypress trees were planted to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the Azerbaijan International Environmental Exhibition, Caspian Ecology.
The new green zone will increase the biodiversity of our city. The choice of the tree is not accidental, because the cypress is an evergreen tree, they are centenarians, and since ancient times have symbolised endurance, perseverance and vitality. The planting area and the trees have been provided by Baku Maintenance Service.
The tree planting was attended by regular participants of the exhibition, organisers, their children and representatives of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan. A total of more than 50 cypress trees were planted.
The Caspian Ecology exhibition opened its doors for the first time in 2010, since then its popularity has been growing among the specialists in Azerbaijan and in the region. Over its 10 successful years, the exhibition has gathered 500 companies from 15 different countries of the world at its site.
In its anniversary year, the exhibition will once again draw the attention of the public and relevant structures to environmental issues, including the rational use of natural resources and the recycling of materials. Participants of Caspian Ecology - leading industry players - will demonstrate the latest achievements and innovations of the industry to the professional audience of the exhibition over 3 days.
The exhibition is supported by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the IDEA Public Union. The organiser of the exhibition is Caspian Event Organisers (CEO). Sponsors of the exhibition are Matanat A, AIMC and Holcim Azerbaijan.
