Unique building (structural) panels

Shahin Shahbazov, Founder of the Azerbaijani company Oreon Commerce

Our company was established in January 2018, and this is our first participation in the Caspian Ecology exhibition. I think that this event will allow us to present our capabilities and will cause great interest in our products which are unique in our country. We are talking about the production of structural panels of 1.2 x 2.44 meters (width: up to 25 mm) of magnesite (for the time being, it is delivered from China and India). Local wood flour (residues from the processing of trees) will be used as a filling agent. Thus, upon the expiration of their service life, these panels will not harm the environment, since actually created from natural materials. The main features are waterproofing, fire and shock resistance, and sound insulation. The raw materials used in manufacturing these panels are free of any bacteria and beetles. This plant will start its work by the end of 2018 in the territory of the Balakhani Industrial Park, the resident of which is Oreon Commerce.

The maximum capacity is 5,700 panels per day on the basis of modern Chinese technologies; production automation is provided by one of the American companies and in fact only 6-7 people can work at the plant.

In the future, dolomite (limestone) will be used for the production of such panels, and its reserves in Azerbaijan are extensive. I am sure that these panels will make a worthy competition to drywall, MDF, plywood and therefore will cause interest. We organise wholesale deliveries for construction companies, both in Azerbaijan and in Georgia.

At the exhibition we are also presenting another environmentally friendly product that will effectively solve heating issues; these are briquettes from wooden waste (sawdust), and even from coffee or paper. One briquette produces 300 kilocalories when burned, while a conventional log produces about 120 kcal. It can be a worthy alternative to coal and gas.

This production with the latest technologies is also planned to open in Baku.
