The 8th Azerbaijan International Environmental Exhibition Caspian Ecology 2017 will take place at the Baku Expo Centre from the 14th to 16th of November. This exhibition is the only significant event for ecology and environmental protection in the Caspian and Caucasus regions that is supported by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Public Association IDEA (International dialogue in the name of environmental protection). The event is being organized by Caspian Event Organisers, CEO.
This year the Caspian Ecology exhibition gathered on one site 53 companies and government agencies from 7 countries, including Azerbaijan, Germany, Israel and UK. Among the local participants are the following state structures: the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, also Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Closed Joint-Stock Company, Tamiz Shahar JSC, The State Agency for Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SAARES). At the exhibition, such big companies as: BP, SOCAR, HAZARDOUS WASTES, POLYMART, RETRO Holding, SOCAR POLYMER, ODIS FILTERING LTD will also present their services and products.
Caspian Ecology 2017 will demonstrate developments in the field of efficient use of natural resources, the system for the collection and disposal of solid waste, attracting people's attention to environmental issues and their resolution.
For the first time within the framework of Caspian Ecology exhibition, the organizers will hold a conference on "Functional Ecology and Environment", which will affect the most pressing environmental issues in the region such as: "Protection of water resources and effective management", "Energy efficiency in water use and development of environmentally friendly technologies", "Tamiz Shahar" OJSC activities, "Environmental management within the framework of sustainable development principles", "Application of the principles of" green economy "for the purpose of environmental protection", "Global warming", "The role of vehicles in pollution of the environment".
At the conference will take floor: Mutallim Abdulgasanov, Head of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Policy of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Elchin Gurbanov, Leading engineer of the Department of Scientific Research and External Relations of Azersu OJSC, Nazaket Isayeva, Representative of Social Association “IDEA”, Sabit Zeyniev, Head of the Department of Environmental Protection and Security of "Tamiz Shahar" OJSC, Imran Abdulov, Deputy Director of the National Hydrometeorological Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mirsalam Ganbarov, Senior Advisor of the National Department of Environmental Monitoring of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Telman Zeynalov, President of the Social Association "National Center for Environmental Forecasting", Sadiq Hasanov, Head of Environmental Social Union "Towards a Healthy Life".
The organizers hope that the conference will become a productive platform for the exchange of opinions and experience, for a dialogue between state structures, the business community and expert organizations. The conference will be held on November 14 in Baku Expo Center on the second floor, room N19.
