National water operator Azersu keeps on taking measures for rainwater disposing on the roads of Baku.
Azersu says that totally 13 projects on the drainage of rainwater will be implemented.
"Construction work in four districts of the capital has been completed and work is underway in other districts where for a short time sewage collectors with length of 11.5 km of the engineered 21.5 km ones have been laid," Azersu said.
The water operator informs that completion of all projects on rainwater disposing is expected before the end of this year.
In accord with Cabinet Ministers’ decree Azersu was given AZN 14.7 million from State Budget 2017 for 13 projects on drainage of rainwater on the roads. The decree says of the construction of rainwater disposing collectors along Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, Aliyar Aliyev Street in Narimanov district, along the Boyukshor Lake, Binagadi Highway, Dadash Buniatzade Street, in the territory of Sabunchu district, along the Mehemmedi Lake.
Also, it is planned the construction of a system of regulation of water level in the Tasagil and Boyukshor lakes, a collector for water diversion around town ‘Shusha’ in Sabunchi district, in the "farm" in Ramana settlement, as well as along Ahmed Jalil Street in Yasamal district, Yusif Safarov Street and Kazimaga Kerimov Street (both streets are in Khatayi district).
